Varied Bunting, Jennifer Mancuso

Varied buntings are found in the summer months in Arizona and are often seen singing during the monsoon season. The males are very colorful, exhibiting shades of blue, purple, red and white. Pictured here is a male perching on an ocotillo during a monsoon rain shower.
