On High Alert, Susan Morris

Created in 2026. I love the body posture of Roadrunners as they hunt through my yard. Their head comb and tail instantly stand to attention, showing a heightened sense of alertness as their attention is caught. Then they relax for a moment, only to be called to high alert again moments later. Adjusting several photos brought this work together.
