Jr. Zookeepers (Sessions 1, 3, 5, and 7)
Campers will learn first-hand what it takes to be a zookeeper and care for the animals at the Phoenix Zoo. Campers should expect to get dirty, get smelly, and be hot and sweaty as they experience firsthand how hard and challenging it is to be a zookeeper. This camp also includes a special visit by a veterinarian from Banfield Pet Hospital.
Jr. Zookeepers Sponsored by

Zoology in the Field (Sessions 2, 4, 6, and 8)
Using real scientific tools to track, observe and study animal habitats and behavior, campers will design a research study to be conducted during the week of camp. Data will be collected, results analyzed, and to conclude the week, campers will report on their findings.
